Arsenal 2026/27 third: the lightning bolt returns

Yellow is back at Arsenal after five seasons away — and it arrived carrying the pattern that made the 1990s Arsenal away shirt famous.
The bolt, reworked
The lightning bolt first appeared on an Arsenal shirt in 1994 and has been revived a handful of times since. On the 2026/27 third kit adidas takes a quieter approach: rather than printing the bolt across the front, the pattern is woven into the base fabric, visible mostly when the light catches it.
Pale yellow, navy, burgundy
The base is a pale yellow — softer than the mustard tones Arsenal used in the 2000s — with navy on the crest, trim and graphics. Burgundy appears in small doses on the collar and cuffs, a nod to the club's earliest colours.
- Shorts: navy, with a tonal pattern and pale yellow side stripes

Jersey or Authentic?
The Authentic version uses the tighter athletic cut and the lighter match-day fabric; the standard jersey version has a more relaxed fit and heavier construction. If you are between sizes, size up on the Authentic — it is cut close.
